Meet the team:

He has 26 years experience in auditing, management consulting and private equity investing. After qualifying with Deloitte & Touche, Nhlanganiso joined Gemini Consulting as a consultant in strategy development and business transformation projects. He later joined Brait Private Equity and was appointed as a director.
Nhlanganiso serves on a number of boards of various companies.

He has 25 years experience in auditing and investment management. After qualifying with Deloitte & Touche, Ernest was appointed as audit manager at Deloitte’s entrepreneurial services division. He later joined Anglo American as a research analyst in their investment and treasury department before being promoted to Portfolio Manager and later Divisional Investment Manager responsible for Anglo American’s pension fund portfolio. Ernest joined RMB Asset Management where he gained invaluable experience in strategic marketing and managing public sector portfolios. He was appointed as a director of RMB Asset Management responsible for transformation and investment management.
Ernest is a non-executive director of a number of companies.

He has 11 years’ experience in auditing, transaction services and mergers and acquisitions.
After qualifying with Ernst & Young, Sandile briefly stayed as an audit assistant manager before joining KPMG as a manager in transaction services where he performed financial due diligence assessments. Sandile also spent over 3 years at Barclays Africa in their corporate development division performing acquisitions, disposals and capital raise for Barclays Africa Group companies.

Responsible for financial management, operations, risk management and regulatory compliance of Medu Capital. He brings over 25 years of experience in financial services, including 23 years in London and other global markets, covering banking, private equity, fund management, hedge funds, capital markets, trade and alternative finance, and accounting. Renowned for driving growth, enhancing performance, and executing strategic turnarounds in complex settings.

He drives capital growth and forges strategic partnerships across diverse sectors. With over 14 years of experience in financial services, he applies a relationship-driven approach to both origination and execution. Recognised for his collaborative leadership and strategic acumen, he leads initiatives that align capital with purpose, creating enduring and sustainable value.

She has over 8 years of experience in group financial reporting, transaction management, mergers and acquisitions, and mezzanine debt.
After qualifying with Sanlam Limited, Tebogo briefly stayed as a transaction deal specialist at Sanlam Capital Markets. She then joined Tamela Holdings, where she gained experience in corporate finance and mezzanine debt. Prior to joining Medu Capital, Tebogo was in the mergers and acquisitions team at Absa.
